Follow these steps below to delete your Mendeley account:

Step 1. Sign in to Mendeley.com. Click the down arrow next to your name in the top right-hand corner.
Step 2. Click ‘Settings & Privacy’. This will open your Account page.
Step 3. Scroll down to the ‘Close Mendeley account’ section. Click on the ‘Close Mendeley account’ link and follow the on-screen instructions and sign out.
Step 4. Once done, contact them via one of the contact options at the bottom of this page, and a member of the Mendeley team will be in touch to fully remove your email address from their system.

Please note: If you have access to other Elsevier products (such as ScienceDirect), please remember not to log in to Mendeley using your email address as this will activate the association of your Mendeley account, as Mendeley is part of Elsevier’s ‘one login for all’ policy.

You can also contact their active support via usinfo@sciencedirect.com or usinfo@scopus.com and request Elsevier’s account deletion.

To do this, follow these steps below to delete your Elsevier account:

Step 1. Open your email account that is registered with the application or website.
Step 2. Now compose an email and enter the email address usinfo@sciencedirect.com.
Step 3. In the Subject section, type “REQUEST TO DELETE MY ACCOUNT”.
Step 4.
Now write an email requesting them to delete your account from their database, and to wipe all your information with them, if any.
